General: I am a California girl. I used to think I wanted to live on the east coast because they get so much rain, things are green and there are lots of trees. So, we went there. I liked it. Then when we got back into California, and I saw those brown hills, and the grasses waving at me, I smiled and inside I just knew; "I'm a California girl. It's crazy, brown, hot, snowy, steep, sandy, weird, cool, colorful, windy, and dry, here, but man oh man, it's home."

When I told the representative at the radio promotion company that the genre of my music was someplace in the neck of country, roots rock, alternative country with some latin stuff in there, she said, "it sounds Californian."

Yes ma'am, it does.

Kisses to you - day and night,
rachel
